In January 2011, I was selected to be one of three sponsored bloggers for a series with HerCampus.com sponsored by SELF Magazine. The series lasted 10 weeks, and in the end, SELF magazine was to choose one of the bloggers for a paid internship for the online department. I was selected as best blogger and offered the job for post-graduation. However, due to financial difficulties, I could not make the move, but genuinely appreciated the experience and offer. The editors said my use of “Twitter” was organic, and according to the HerCampus.com case study, I had the highest numbers of comments on posts and influence through social media.
